TASTING PROFILE

Appearance: A bright salmon pink with a rose-gold rim, this rosé catches the light with warmth and freshness.

Aroma: Aromas burst forth with white peach, watermelon rind, and rose petal, lending a fragrant floral and fruit-kissed layer.

Palate: Plush yet balanced — wild strawberry and guava take centre stage, while a hint of ruby grapefruit adds zesty lift. The texture is smooth, underpinned by crisp acidity that keeps the wine vibrant and refreshing.

Finish: Clean and refreshing, with lingering fruit notes. Perfectly suited to warm days or evenings when something light, expressive and graceful is desired.

VINTAGE NOTES

Grapes are picked at night to preserve freshness where after destemming, the berries rest for a few hours before pressing to extract just a delicate touch of colour. The “cold stabulation” method is used: juice kept around 30-32°F, stirred daily for several days, which intensifies aromatics. Fermentation occurs slowly at about 55°F, and the wine is later racked off its lees and stored in stainless steel to preserve its brightness.

Knights Valley, Sonoma County — rugged and remote terrain, warmed by day, cooled by night, with rocky alluvial soils. Old river deposits, volcanic influence from nearby Mount St. Helena; well-drained soils ensure small berries with concentrated flavour and balanced acidity.

This is a wine meant to be enjoyed relatively young — fresh, vibrant, full of summer energy. Ideal over the next 1-3 years, particularly in warm weather or paired with light, flavourful fare.

About brand
Beringer is known for establishing many 'firsts' as leaders in the wine industry. They were one of the first gravity fed facilities and among the first to operate using hand-dug caves and cellars. We were the first to give public tours in 1934, starting a Napa Valley hospitality tradition. They are the first and only winery to have both a red and a white wine named #1 Wine of the Year by Wine Spectator Magazine. The Beringer estate provides a unique glimpse into Napa Valley's past. Graced with stately 19th century architecture and verdant gardens, Beringer is not only one of the most beautiful properties in California's wine country, but as the longest continuously operating winery in Napa, it's also one of the most historic.
Frederick Beringer's former residence "The Rhinehouse"  is now the center piece of the expansive Beringer property. Exhibiting the fine, detailed craftsmanship of the period, the Rhine House has beautiful exterior stonework, stained-glass windows and interior wood paneling. When building his 17-room mansion, Frederick wanted to mimic the Beringer family's impressive German home at Mainz-on-the-Rhine. Built at a cost of about $28,000 (with the 40 panels of stained glass accounting for $6,000) the Rhine House is a classic example of ornate Victorian architecture with its many gables, turrets and ornaments. Margo Van Staaveren began her winemaking career at Beringer and brings more than 45 harvests of experience to the role. She has worked with the brand for many years, helping shape some of its most acclaimed wines as part of her leadership across the North Coast portfolio. Known for her refined blending style and deep vineyard knowledge, Margo crafts expressive, age-worthy wines that reflect both tradition and innovation. Her thoughtful, collaborative approach continues to guide Beringer’s winemaking today. “Beringer has long held a special place in my heart—not only as one of Napa’s most historic estates, but as a benchmark for excellence in California winemaking.”
